I Actually Feel Pregnant Today

OK, after over a week of wondering where my symptoms went, they came back today. Who knows, they could be gone again in the morning...

6 weeks exactly today and I feel like I have a lead skeleton. It's even hard to just sit here and type, that's how tired I feel. Yet, it's a body-tiredness, not a mind tiredness, so I feel like I can't sleep. Just enough to feel drudged. Also, NAUSEA, all day. Yuck. It was fairly bad this morning and I didn't feel like eating. I actually FORGOT to eat, went to the gym, got part-way through my work out and realized that if I didn't eat, I wasn't going to make it through the workout. So I went upstairs to eat and ever since I have been SO tired and gross feeling. Also, everything smells bad today. For some reason my fabric softner smells like...pee.

Baby is officially a "fetus" this week. The little bone palates in his hands and feet that will split into fingers and toes are forming rapidly and he has his own little heart that is starting to pump his own blood, totally separate from my own!

Also, my tummy popped! I told my husband that we probably wouldn't see much of a change in my tummy for AT LEAST another month maybe two, hahaha, I'm learning I shouldn't say such things when this is my first kid. I rally have no clue how things are going to go. Considering I have small hips and my abdominals aren't all that strong, it should be no surprise.

Something kinda cool is that my home pregnancy tests (yes, I have a couple left over, might as well uses them for fun) are looking different. The test line is coming up WAY darker than the control line. Also, my leftover OPK'S (ovulation tests) are responding the same way as the PG tests are.; really dark test lines and paler control lies. OPK's detect LH rather than HCG (pregnancy hormone) but they are very similar. Once there is enough HCG to get a dark line on a PG test, it will actually be picked up on an OPK. If you still don't understand go visit my girl on Pee On A Stick.
