Snips & Snails...
YAY! 20 more weeks (hopefully) until I can have a Peach Daiquiri! And a Beer! And
a Glass of Wine! And Brie Cheese! And Capreese Salad! And a Ice Pack to sit on! YAY!
So today was the big day! We have a VERY squirmy and irritable (I don't blame him) little BOY! We are both extremely exhausted from the 2+hour sonogram that was very rough and at times actually painful. (I don't know what it is with those techs?!) Anyhow, we got
some AMAZING pictures of the baby. He's got a cute button nose, and puckery upper lip and very long little arms and legs. He's measuring right on time with my original due date of 9/17, but they are keeping it 9/22 in the doctor's computer for now, which is a + for us. Everything on the baby looked great from our view and the techs. Of course the doctors will do a twice-over to double check. 
The only downside is that my cervix is slightly effaced. Not so much that it's an emergency, but we're probably going to have to keep a close watch on it in case it needs to get stitched up. I'm not too worried, although deep down inside I dread being put on the "high risk" list.
Anyhow, here are some of the pictures... My favorites are the perfect little profile and the "skully face." I cried laughing he's just SO cute! He really hated all that probing around today. He's a cuddler and just likes a warm soft hand to snuggle with. Ahnyow.... Now it's time to start name picking!
